Hi everyone,

The last three months have been a great experience. I have learned so much about what it takes to write a good story, make good art, and deliver it to readers in a way that makes it enjoyable and entertaining.

To be honest, I feel like Xenon is not making the grade in two out of three of those areas. The art has not been what it should be, largely due to the fact that I produce the comic week to week and typically do not have enough time to make the art to the best quality it can be. In the end that is no fun for me and disappointing for you.

Secondly, I have gotten feedback from a couple of people that reading one page a week can be a bit of a drag. Especially when you’re used to reading a full 22 page comic at once.

Because of all of that, I am making the decision to halt publishing of Xenon and to go back to the drawing board. I want to make the art some of the best in the industry, the story one that you remember for the rest of your life, and the experience so entertaining that it sits at the height of a modern day escapist’s favorite pastimes.

In order to do that, I need time. Time that I hope you, as a reader, are willing to give me on the promise that I will come back with a much better product.

Thank you so much for reading, and for being a part of the learning experience. I will be making sure that you still have a reason to come back each week to see blog posts, art, and of course, your requests for Free Sketch Friday! All the while working on Xenon to produce a top notch story that you can enjoy in much better intervals.

With all of that said: What do you like about Xenon? What don’t you like? No holds barred. Be brutally honest! Let me know in the comments. I would like your honest feedback to help make this a great story!
